About

Berkshire Trades is a website designed to help people in the Berkshires and surrounding areas connect with local tradespeople more easily. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve opened Facebook and seen posts asking, “Does anyone know someone who can do xyz?” Well, to make a long story short, that’s what inspired me to create this website using Wix.

After researching why similar websites don’t work as well as they should, I realized many of them focus more on making money than being user-friendly. With the Yellow Pages no longer being the resource it once was, and with some people not being very internet-savvy, I wanted to create a simple, local database that helps businesses get found more easily while helping residents find reliable services. It’s a win-win for everyone.
