Perc Test:

Percolation Test or “Perc” Test is legally required by the city before installing a septic system. The test confirms whether the soil meets the city and local health department's requirements.  The results will show whether the soil has adequate amounts of permeable contents like sand or gravel. You can only obtain the permit to start the installation process once you receive the permit.
