Stump Grinding:

After a tree is removed, stump grinding clears the way for new possibilities. Depending on the site and depth, grinding a stump can make space for reseeding, replanting, or other landscape improvements. Tree Cabling:

Tree cabling is a preventative measure that provides additional support to trees with weak or co-dominant stems, reducing the risk of major branch failure.  We install discreet cabling systems high in the tree canopy, where they're barely visible. For optimal safety, these systems should be inspected annually and after severe storms.

Like people, trees need both preventive care and treatment when issues arise. Our tree health services start with a careful evaluation of the trees on your property, including a risk assessment of their condition and safety. From there, we create a customized care plan that may include pruning, thinning, raising, or fertilizing—always tailored to your trees’ unique needs. With a holistic approach, we focus on keeping your trees strong, healthy, and safe for years to come.

Deep Root Fertilization:

Deep root fertilization is a process that provides vital nutrients to the often-overlooked root system of trees and other woody plants. We inject a liquid fertilizer mixture directly into the soil under pressure, which not only delivers nutrients but also helps improve soil aeration. This is especially beneficial for trees in urban or suburban settings that face competition from surrounding turfgrass.  The best times for application are in the spring and late fall when soil moisture is plentiful. Our work strictly adheres to ANSI A300 standards.

Lightning Protection:

The Berkshire region is experiencing increased lightning activity, making lightning protection systems a great idea for trees growing close to structures. The system works by providing a safe path for electrical energy to travel from the tree's canopy to a ground rod, preventing damage to the tree and nearby buildings.
